Background
Springboard came about thanks to a number of factors.
• Action Greensboro wants to highlight the ideas, individuals and groups (corporate as well as non-profit) that are helping move Greensboro forward and improve our community’s economic vitality.
• We want to reach more deeply and broadly into our community. We especially want to engage community-minded young professionals who have adopted new media as their main media.
• Action Greensboro wants to share ideas, “best practices” and examples from other communities to expand our community’s perspective on ways to move forward.
Springboard will help accomplish these goals.
